Our bags are all handmade by skilled artisans with great care and passion, and we hope that you are happy with your purchase and enjoy wearing these handcrafted bags. Please note that due to the products being handcrafted some minor irregularities can occur, such as loose threads. Please bear in mind that these are an inherent part of the product and should not be considered a defect. Please note that most of the bags are made out of vintage traditional Mayan garments (skirts and blouses), and therefore you will notice some natural wear. This should not be considered a defect.
Returning your purchase
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it to SCALO and we will refund you with the amount you paid for that item. Please email to email@example.com and we will send you the return address. Returns must be made within 14 business days of delivery. Items must be unused and returned in their original packaging and with their tags still attached. The substantial integrity of returned products constitutes an essential requirement for the exercise of the right of withdrawal. The Customer shall be solely responsible for any reduction in the value of products resulting from their handling except for what is necessary to determine the product’s nature, characteristics and functionality. SCALO therefore reserves the right to refuse refunds for products that have been damaged, that have deteriorated, that are dirty, or that are in a state that clearly indicates that the products have been used for purposes other than those indicated above. Please allow up to 15 days from receipt of your returned goods for your refund to be processed. Shipping charges will not be refunded. None of these terms affect your statutory rights. We cannot accept returns on final sale items. Please note that it is not possible to return an item in exchange for store credit. Note that product returns and refunds of the purchase price are permitted exclusively for products purchased through the Website.
Exchanging your purchase
Exchanges can be made within 14 business days of delivery with proof of purchase and product in unused condition and in original packaging. Please email our Customer Care team on firstname.lastname@example.org with complete details of your order and the exchange item. Shipping charges for exchange will be incurred and we will notify you with the exact amount.
